Shipping and Processing Times

🇺🇸 A Note for Our U.S. Friends

At the moment, we’re unable to ship to the U.S. by post, as our local postal service in Barbados has temporarily suspended deliveries while adjusting to new U.S. customs requirements following the removal of the de minimis rule.

We haven’t been given a timeline for when this will be resolved, but we’ll let you know as soon as we have news.

If you're hoping to place an order, courier options like FedEx or DHL may still be possible. These would need to be arranged individually, so please feel free to contact me directly if you’re interested.

In addition, starting 29 August 2025, the U.S. is removing its de minimis rule. For the next six months, USPS may apply a flat customs fee of $80 per package, no matter the parcel’s value. After that, they’re expected to shift to a percentage-based tariff instead.

Since all orders from my shop are handmade and shipped from Barbados, they are now subject to U.S. import taxes. At the time of writing, the standard U.S. tariff for goods from Barbados is 10%. These charges are collected by USPS and must be paid by you before your parcel can be delivered.

What is the Shipping time?  The Shipping time is the time takes for your parcel to travel from my post office to your home/ post office.

What is the Processing time? The Processing time is the time it takes from when you place your order to when it is delivered at my post office.

Processing times can vary.
•Ready to ship items - have short a processing time of 2 to 5 working days. Ready to ship means I have already made the item.  A working day is Monday to Friday. 
•Made to Order items - processing times vary depending on the size and details in the finished art piece. This processing time also can vary depending on the number of orders.  On average the processing time for a Made to Order item is 2 to 4 weeks. Shipping Times:
The approximate time it takes to travel from my post office to yours (barring, natural disasters, pandemics, strikes etc.).
* USA and Australia - 14-20 days
* EU and UK - 7-10 days
* Rest of the world 14-30 days  

*If you’d like to place an order but don’t see your country listed, just send me a note and I’ll be happy to add it for you.

*All parcels are sent by Tracking or Registered signed for delivery.

 Please note that during the busy shopping seasons the postal systems world wide tend to be slower than the above estimates.

*Please be aware that as a small shop I do NOT collect VAT or the customs duties/tax for your order. If required by your country of delivery, you or the addressee in the case of a gift,  will have to pay these at your local post office or custom office before they deliver your order .
