Frequently asked questions

How can I returning an item and I have NOT OPENED the mailing package

1. If you do not want your order and have received it and you have NOT OPENED the mailing package
You can write the word "REFUSED" on the box and give it back to your mail carrier or drop it off to your USPS mail office and they will return it free of charge back to me. Please double check your postal info if not in the USA.

2. If you do not want your order and have NOT collected it from the mail service, just do not collect it and it will eventually be returned to me.

*This MUST be done within 14 days of the registered (tracked) delivery.
Please let me know if you are doing this. It takes a long time for mail to make its way back to me, but if you let me know and once I can see it is on its way I will start processing your refund.

How can I returning an item that I received and I have OPENED the mailing parcel

If you do not want your order you have received and you have OPENED the mailing package, you will have to repackage it in a similar manner as you received it (this is to prevent damage) and take it to your mailing office and pay for postage and either get a certificate of mailing or a tracking number, and Send me a photo as proof that the order is on its way back to me.

The return mail postage cost is NOT refunded.

This MUST be done within 14 days of the registered (tracked) delivery.

Please let me know if you are doing this. It takes a long time for mail to make its way back to me, but if you let me know and once I can see it is on its way I will start processing your refund.

Damaged items

I pack your items as carefully as possible to prevent this from happening. However if it does happen, take a photo of the item and its mailing package as soon as it has been received damaged in the mail and contact me.  And I will see what can be done to solve the problem. Please allow for time differences with my reply.

I decide after it is mailed I do not want my order can you stop it?

No I cannot.
All you can do it is not collect the item from the post office or if you do receive it DO NOT OPEN the box and write REFUSED on it - see the above questions and answers for more details.

Where is my parcel?

All orders are posted either as Tracked and or Registered (signed for receipt).
I will send you a message with the parcel's tracking number once I have posted it.
So if your country does track small parcels you will find the tracking number there.

I think my parcel is lost

Please contact me if you think your parcel has been lost the mail, and I will see if we can try and find it.
This may involve writing out missing parcel forms and if you willing to help talking with your local post office.

It says my parcel has been delivered but I do not have it.

This fortunately rarely happens, but if it does this situation is a criminal matter and you need to report it to your local police, for this is stolen mail i.e theft.
However, before doing that please check with your neighbours and members of your household that one else, being helpful, have received it on your behalf and forgot to tell you about it.

🇺🇸 U.S. Tariffs & Customs Charges

Do I have to pay customs fees or tariffs?
Yes. All countries may charge import duties, customs fees, or taxes on parcels coming from abroad. These are set by your government and must be paid by you,the customer.

What about the United States?
Due to the removal of the U.S. de minimis rule, all packages arriving in to the U.S. after 29th August 2025 are now subject to customs charges. At present, USPS is applying a flat $80 fee per package for the next 6 months. After this period, unless announced otherwise, parcels will be taxed at the regular tariff percentage (currently 10% for items made and shipped from Barbados).

Who do I pay these fees to?
These are U.S. taxes collected by USPS or any other method the U.S. government has in place. You’ll need to pay them directly in order to receive your parcel.

Will you refund customs or tariff charges?
No. Customs and tariffs are not my fees — they are U.S. government taxes, and therefore non-refundable.

🇪🇺 Shipping to the EU

Do you ship to the EU?
I’m sorry to say that at this time I’m unable to ship to the EU. Since I am now creating and sending our little pieces of magic from Barbados, new EU GSPR directives prevent parcels from reaching customers there.

I know this may be disappointing, and I truly hope circumstances will change in the future. In the meantime, you’re warmly invited to join my newsletter to stay connected and enjoy little digital treats, no matter where you are. 💛
